Introduction to Liu Zhaojun Violin Studio
Liu Zhaojun is a member of the First Violin Makers Association of my country, a member of the American Violin Makers Association, and a director of the Chinese Violin Makers Association.

Born in 1977 in Rizhao, Shandong Province, Liu Zhaojun studied violin making with Mr. Zhu Xiangjiao in 1995 at the Instrumental Research Institute of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, and then under the guidance of Prof. Hua Tianchu, Vice President of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, in 1999, he mainly studied the art of making and restoring the traditional violin of the Cremona in Italy, and in 2002, he was elected as a member of the first Chinese violin makers' association. In 2002, he was elected as a member of the first Chinese Violin Makers Association, and was taught by the president of the association, Mr. Zheng Tsuen, for a long time. 2005, he set up his own independent violin studio, and studied under Mr. Huo Zhenghong to learn the Hutchins mode and spectrum analysis system, mainly to detect the sound transmission speed of the board and the vibration spectrum of the violin body; he collected a large number of valuable and meaningful parameters during the production of new violins and the restoration of the old violins and perfected their contents with reference to the suggestions of the professional performers.

In the exhibition of outstanding violin makers' works held in Shanghai, China (East China) from 2014 to 2016, Liu Zhaojun's works were selected as concert instruments by performers Wang Zhiling and Jin Xin for three consecutive years. In February 2018, he won the violin bronze medal in the Malta International Violin Making Competition. In June 2018, he won the violin bronze medal at the 9th International Violin Making Competition in Bugaria, Bulgaria. In September 2018, he participated in the 15th "Triennale" International Violin Making Competition (China) in Cremona, Italy, and came in second place. In February 2019, he won the violin final prize at the Malta International Violin and Bow Making Competition. In May 2019, he won the bronze medal for violin and the final prize for viola in the 4th China International Violin and Bow Making Competition. In January 2020, he won the silver medal for violin quartet, the bronze medal for violin, and the final prize for cello in the MALTA International Violin and Bow Making Competition. In May 2021, the 14th Wieniawski International Violin Making Competition advanced to the finals with sixth place in total score and second place in voice; the only Chinese violin maker to enter the finals.
Liu Zhaojun Violin Studio is located at 1283 Fuxing Middle Road, Huangpu District, Shanghai. The studio environment is bright and clean, and the tools are neatly furnished. Mainly provide various types of models of violin repair services. For example, the violin code deformation, accessories aging, replacement of strings, sound post and other issues can be resolved. Skillful, serious and careful work, meticulous service. During the repair process, the teacher will also explain some knowledge about violin maintenance to help violin players understand their instruments better and take better care of their instruments for a longer period of time. During the long repair period, the teacher will also lend some suitable violins to the players, so that they can have a violin available. Liu Zhaojun Violin Workshop not only repairs violins, but also sells violins, bows and accessories. The instruments for sale are all handmade, and every step is carefully considered by Mr. Liu. The number of violins for sale is generally small, but they are all fine products, different from the factory violins, with higher quality acoustics, suitable for different stages of players. We also support more personalized customization which is more suitable for players, but this period of time will also be extended.
